Six registered sex offenders got caught during this year’s “Operation Boo” by Redding Police, Shasta County Sheriff’s and Probation Offices and State Parole. The compliance check operation is done statewide each Halloween. Sex offenders must turn off their outside lights on Halloween, cannot display Halloween decorations and can’t answer the door after 5PM. On Saturday 22 Shasta County offenders were visited and officers arrested six for violations: Darek Streeter, Billy Bates, Andrew Gallegos, Zachary Russell, Justin Underwood, and Dylan Vanburen.
