Friday will be the 25th anniversary of one of the defining events of the century: the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. The annual sunrise ceremony will be held at the Enterprise Lions’ giant American Flag on North Bechelli. The ceremony is conducted by Redding Fire, Cal Fire/Shasta County Fire and Redding Police. It’ll get underway at 7AM Friday morning. A remembrance ceremony will be held in front of the Shasta Lake City Fire Department Friday evening, with food at 6PM and the program at 7PM.
