A good time in the country awaits visitors this weekend at the 34th Annual Manton Apple Festival. A lot of preparation by the whole community goes into the 7 hour event that runs from 9 to 4 on Saturday. There will be dozens of booths offering homemade arts & crafts and food. Apples can be purchased by the lug, by the pie, or by the slice. There will be live musical entertainment, a pie baking contest, free parking and free admission.
