Joel Lockwood of Anderson was sentenced to 18 years in prison after being convicted on 8 counts of lewd or lascivious acts upon a child under 14. Judge Daniel Flynn handed down the sentence Thursday to Joel Lockwood who was also ordered to serve a decade of parole. Upon release Lockwood will not be allowed visitation with the two victims, now aged 20 and 21, and must register as a sex offender. The original 36 charges were filed in 2019.
