“A Day That Will Live In Infamy” will be remembered this weekend. 84 years after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that pulled America into World War Two, all of the members of the Shasta County Pearl Harbor Survivors Association have passed away, and so the torch has been passed to their children, the Sons and Daughters of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Group to keep reminding Americans about what happened that day. The group invites the community to gather with them this Sunday at exactly 9:55AM on the steps of the Shasta County Administration Building at the Pearl Harbor Monument to hold the annual ceremony.
