Tehama County Probation Officers traced and tracked a defendant awaiting trial by following the GPS trail left by his ankle bracelet. The subject is on pretrial supervision and already on active parole. Last Thursday officers saw that he traveled to the Bay Area overnight without permission and returned to a travel trailer in Gerber. The officers and Tehama County Deputies contacted multiple people at the trailer, including another parolee. They reported finding a stolen Glock handgun, as well as 49 Grams of Fentanyl and 38 Grams of Methamphetamine.
