At Tuesday’s Redding City Council meeting, Mayor Tenessa Audette will propose appointing two of her political allies to the Planning Commission. Audette has for years been a teacher at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministries, and she’ll be in a November runoff with Heather Hadwick for the California Assembly First District seat. One of her proposed Planning Commission appointees is David Stine. He’s the CEO of Bethel Media, a Bethel Church owned Redding-based venture that produces music and video for the Bethel organization worldwide. Audette’s other proposed appointee is Joshua Johnson, a Redding Developer who ran for City Council at the same time as Audette in 2022.
