A Redding Police investigation of a crash that injured a bicyclist slowed Miracle Mile traffic Tuesday afternoon. At 2:45PM a man was riding an electric bike northbound on the southbound sidewalk of North Market Street. A Chevy pickup was at the United Gas Food Mart across the street from Dutch Bros waiting for the light to turn green. When it did, the female driver started forward and the bicyclist crashed into the side of the truck. He was ejected and suffered major injuries.
