A structure fire spread to vegetation in the Millville area Tuesday afternoon. Crews were called at around 3:30PM to Springwood Way for a burning barn or shop building. It spread to surrounding grass and brush, but firefighters held it to less than an acre.
Three small fires started Tuesday morning along Highway 97 north of Weed in Siskiyou County. They were stopped at a total of around a half-acre. Cal Fire determined the fires had been sparked by as blown tire.
