The 91st anniversary of Social Security and the 61st anniversary of Medicare will be marked by a demonstration Tuesday. The California Alliance for Retired Americans is organizing the rally at the Social Security Office on Park Marina Drive Tuesday from 9AM to 11AM. The Alliance opposes cuts to Social Security benefits and the thinning of administration staffing, and would like to eliminate the income cap that shields the wealthy from having to contribute. The alliance also supports “Medicare for All”.
