The results of last month’s election were formally certified by the Shasta County Board of Supervisors Tuesday. It was a vote they had no choice in making. The final tally showed a turnout of 56.5%. There were many concerns voiced by public speakers about appointed Registrar Clint Curtis. Supervisor Matt Plummer told Curtis there seemed to be many problems despite a very simple ballot, and he’s concerned about next June’s much more complicated Primary Election.
