There was a collision involving a Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputy Thursday afternoon. It occurred shortly after 4 O’clock on Happy Valley Road near White Oak Drive. Three vehicles were involved, according to the CHP, and the road was closed for some time. One of the drivers complained of pain and somebody was trapped and had to be extricated by rescue personnel, but nobody was seriously injured in the crash.
