A 42-year-old Montgomery Creek man is dead after he was found pinned under a vehicle near Big Bend on Monday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 1:50PM on Summit Lake Road, north of Gun Shot Road. Investigators say officers found an unoccupied 1995 Toyota Previa with the driver-side door open and the vehicle high-centered. A man was found pinned underneath the rear of the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived, but the man died from his injuries. The CHP says alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the collision.
