The CHP says one person was killed following a collision with a tree. Just before 10PM Thursday night the driver of a 2006 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Clear Creek Road east of Dredge Lane when the vehicle left the road colliding with the tree causing major damage to the vehicle, and killing the driver. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
