City Issues Statement After Recent Storms Cause Pot Holes Across Town

The City of Redding wants drivers to know that they’re feeling their pothole pain. One pothole in particular on Victor Avenue has been reported as particularly destructive by many drivers who have experienced flat tires and bent rims from striking the massive depression. Crews have been filling it with cold patch mix but it can’t be properly repaired until it dries out. It’s one of many potholes caused by recent flood conditions and city crews have used around 29 Tons of pothole mix on Redding roads during the recent storms. A roundabout is planned for the intersection of Victor and Cypress, with construction tentatively planned to begin this Summer. Other improvements are planned for Victor north to Mistletoe Lane over the next two years.
