A 59-year-old Corning man is accused of the ongoing sexual abuse of a child younger than 10. Cody Troy Wimer is in Tehama County Jail on 16 separate counts of continuous sexual abuse. Detectives began investigating Wimer in May, conducting multiple interviews and served a search warrant on him and his home on Woodson Avenue. He was arrested Saturday and is being held on $2 Million bail.
