A teenage boy was apparently shot in Corning Sunday evening. The shooting was reported a little before 5:30PM off Tehama Street near Northside Park. The juvenile victim was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital and was in stable condition. Corning Police said several shots were fired and a grey sedan was seen speeding away eastbound. Police wanted to assure the public that the area is safe, as a community Halloween “Trunk or Treat” event is taking place there Saturday and there will be a heavy police presence.
