The woman who has been keeping Shasta County Courts in order for decades has retired. Court Executive Officer, Clerk of the Court and Jury Commissioner Melissa Fowler-Bradley dedicated more than 50 years to public service, with the last 30 years serving the local courts. She’s been a member of many commissions and councils to improve various aspects of the court system. Last year the California Judicial Branch gave Fowler-Bradley their highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award. The state’s Presiding Judge Tamara Wood called Fowler-Bradley a “Tireless advocate for justice”.
