Redding Fire Department had an unusual call Thursday morning. At around 5:35AM an engine was dispatched to a home on Rainbow Lane off Goodwater Avenue in East Redding. Apparently a chicken coop had caught fire. It’s now know if the chickens survived the flames but there was apparently no spread to other structures.
