A plume of smoke could be seen just northeast of Redding starting shortly before 11 O’clock Tuesday morning. It was from a fully involved barn or shop fire off Boyle Road just east of Old Alturas Road. The blaze spread to another outbuilding and burned about an acre of grass, Oak and brush before it was stopped by firefighters.
