The Brook Fire that started Saturday in the Jones Valley/Bella Vista area is now 95% contained at 502 acres.
Great progress has been made on three fires burning in Western Lassen County near the Shasta County Line. The “Wagon Fire” in Dixie Valley 14 miles southeast of Bieber remains at 183 acres and is now 50% contained. The 656 acre “Loomis Fire” and the 1,055 acre “3-1 Pit Fire” are both 95% contained.
The perimeter of the Biscar Fire in Eastern Lassen County has not grown. It’s 10% contained at more than 69,300 acres. Evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect, and have expanded over the state line into Nevada.
