A fire off Placer Road in the Centerville area Tuesday afternoon prompted evacuation warnings for Muletown Road, Vista Knolls and Secluded Valley. A stretch of Placer was closed for awhile. The fire threatened a few homes but there was no structural damage and it was stopped at almost 17 acres.
