After several temporary patched washed out, city crews have taken advantage of the dry weather to fix a major pothole on Victor Avenue. Victor Avenue is also scheduled for a major overhaul beginning this Summer. Through a series of federal and state grants, the intersection of Victor and Cypress will be upgraded to a roundabout. Next year the area north of there to Mistletoe is scheduled for upgrades. Because these projects rely on grant funding, schedules and project elements are established through multi-year planning processes and must follow specific state and federal requirements before construction can move forward. At this time, there is no separate paving-only project scheduled for Victor Avenue outside of these planned improvements. However the city says it will continue to do temporary patches as the need arises.
