Crews Stop 11 Acre Fire Southwest Of Red Bluff Tuesday Morning

A vegetation fire in Tehama County was contained at around 11 acres Tuesday. Located off Red Bank Road near Lowrey Road southwest of Red Bluff, the “Red Fire” was threatening a structure as it spread slowly in grass and Oak woodland. It started a little after 11AM and forward progress was stopped by 12:30PM.

A fire that started at around 4PM burned about a quarter acre of vegetation off South Main Street in Red Bluff.

About 3 acres burned Tuesday off Long Gulch Road near Yreka.
