If you were affected by the flooding in late December there may still be help available in the form of loans from the Small Business Administration. The City of Redding in partnership with the SBA has extended the operation of the Disaster Loan Outreach Center which is operating at the Redding City Hall. It will continue to provide in-person assistance to individuals needing help in filling out a disaster loan application until April 2nd. The low interest loans are available for anyone in Shasta County who experienced a loss during the storms. The help is available for not only business owners, but for homeowners and renters as well. SBA representatives will expand their availability to ensure more residents have the opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance, and are available to answer questions about disaster loan programs and eligibility requirements, walk-ins are welcome, and appointments may also be scheduled in advance by calling 530- 225-4061. The Disaster Outreach Center is located at the Redding City Hall on Cypress Avenue and is open from 8AM to 6PM Monday through Friday.
