Results have been released from a sobriety checkpoint done at an unusual location. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office set up the checkpoint on Main Street in Burney on October 3rd. 275 vehicles went through, 9 were detained for further screening, 2 field sobriety tests were done and one DUI arrest was made. The checkpoint was paid for by the CHP Cannabis Tax Fund Program.
