There was a drive-by shooting in Rancho Tehama Tuesday morning. At 7:40AM Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Stagecoach Road and Eagle Point. Video footage showed the shooting involving a 2005 Chevy or GMC pickup truck. While deputies were there, they heard about a half dozen gunshots but they could not find the source. The area was searched and tracks were found on Eagle Point showing a vehicle had left at high speed. Rancho Tehama School was locked down and residents were told to shelter in place as the area was searched. No victims were found but multiple arrests were made for outstanding warrants. Deputies have not determined the source of the drive-by shooting.
