The family of a missing man is pleading with the public to keep an eye out for him. Gregory Rachel did not show up for his birthday dinner with his children and grandchildren on October 3rd. Apparently nobody has heard from him and the family says that very out of character. They then learned of a text stating possible self harm. His cell phone is off and he didn’t take any gear with him. He drives a newer model light colored heavy duty Ford crew cab. Photos of Gregory Rachel and his pickup are on the KQMS Facebook Page. Sightings should be reported to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.
