Shasta County Sheriff‘s Detectives have been setting an online trap for child predators, and three arrests have been made. Over the last few weeks detectives posed as a child in hopes of attracting potential molesters. The three who started communicating and showing sexual intent with someone they thought was a child are identified by the Sheriff’s Office as 45-year-old Robert Matthew Murrell of Shingletown, 34-year-old Chase Edward Barnett of Redding and 37-year-old Christian James Constantino of Oak Run. Detectives say Constantino went as far as arriving at an arranged location for sex, so he faces additional charges.
