A man has been sentenced for a head-on drunk driving collision that happened in February. 54-year-old David Brown was driving a Toyota Corolla eastbound on Highway 36 west of Red Bluff near Monroe Avenue at around 70 miles an hour when he ran head-on into an Audi driven by 62-year-old Tracy Battaglia. She suffered severe injuries and a 14-year-old in Brown’s car suffered minor injuries. Brown had a suspended license and was on probation for a previous DUI. He’s been sentenced to two years in state prison.
