A group of Enterprise High School students organized a protest and walkout on Friday to express their opposition to U.S. Immigration Enforcement policy. The school principal said a group of students met with him in advance to express their intentions. The plan was for a peaceful protest on the school’s front lawn, but an estimated 150 of the students left campus and marched north along Churn Creek Road. They were followed by school administrators and Redding Police, to ensure safety and to encourage the students to return to school. they eventually complied.
