A fire prompted evacuation orders in Northern Siskiyou County Monday. Located off Copco Road and Cod Road in the Hornbrook area, crews working the Cod Fire stopped forward progress at around 9 O’clock Monday night at 28 acres. Evacuations have been called off and the evacuation center is closed. Agencies on the fire included Cal-Fire, Klamath National Forest and multiple local fire departments.
