The FBI says they’ve learned more about a teenager from Oroville who was found dead in Siskiyou County 5 years ago. 19-year-old Tatiana Dugger was seen getting into a white pickup truck in Oakland on January 8th of 2021. Her family reported her missing the next day. Three months later, on March 2nd, a hiker found Tatiana’s remains on Forest Service land in Siskiyou County between Juniper Terrace and Highway 97. The case has been investigated by law enforcement agencies from the Bay Area, as well as the Butte and Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Departments. Last week the FBI held a press conference and said they believe Tatiana’s disappearance is linked to other missing women, and all three may have been victims of human trafficking.
