A residential structure fire was reported on New Riders Way in Happy Valley just after 10AM Thursday. First arriving firefighters found a 3,000 square foot home with a fully involved patio on fire, including a cooking area with propane tanks. Flames were spreading into the structure and smoke was pouring out of the attic. Damage was significant.
Cal Fire/Tehama County Fire battled a structure fire in the are of Mulloc Drive and Saddlebrook Drive on the west side of Red Bluff Thursday afternoon. The attached garage of a home was burning, and flames spread to vegetation. The fire was quickly contained. A pickup truck also burned.
A vegetation fire broke out around 9AM Thursday off Hilltop Drive and Palisades Avenue. Redding Fire held it to around a quarter acre.
