A fire off Highway 273 at Whitehouse Drive between Redding and Anderson Thursday afternoon was held to about a quarter acre.
A dark plume of smoke could be seen Thursday night off Hooker Creek Road south of Cottonwood in Tehama County. The fire was held to about an acre.
An attic fire was reported in West Redding Thursday night. It was dispatched as a 2500 square foot two-story structure on Winsome Way off Placer Street with smoke coming from the eaves. One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
Evacuation warnings were issued for a fire on steep terrain off Mad River Road near Bailey Canyon Campground in the Ruth Lake area of Trinity County. It was stopped at around 3 acres.
