Several agencies assisted with a structure fire in Anderson Friday night. Shortly before 11 O’clock Anderson Fire Department was called to Silver Street. They found heavy smoke and flames coming from a residence, with the fire spreading to a nearby structure. All the occupants were able to escape without injury. The fire was under control within about 15 minutes of firefighters arriving. The cause is under investigation. Cal Fire/Shasta County Fire, Cottonwood Fire and Redding fire all responded as well.
