The former Director of “Youth Options Shasta” is accused of embezzling over $37,000 from the organization by giving herself a raise without board approval. Susan Wilson was recently let go from her position of leadership at the local non-profit organization, formerly known as the “Youth Violence Prevention Council of Shasta County”. Wilson became the subject of a police investigation, with the report distributed by Kevin Crye during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors Meeting. Wilson has yet to be formally charged.
