Redding Rodeo week is upon us. The chili cook-off, quick-draw contest, and street dance were Friday night and the Redding Rodeo Association kick off barbecue and dance was Saturday evening at the rodeo grounds. The special needs kids day and the kiddie pet parade are both Monday. There’s a pretty good chance of a bank holdup Tuesday by the lone strangers. The hugely popular pancake breakfast will take place Friday morning and it’s still the largest one-day breakfast event in the country. The parade is on Saturday. Grand entry rodeo events take place Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, featuring some of the top rodeo cowboys in the world.
