Former Shasta County Supervisor Tim Garman is withdrawing from his effort to unseat District 5 Supervisor Chris Kelstrom. Garman, a former District 2 Supervisor who was disqualified for re-election when redistricting placed his home in District 5, cites other responsibilities for his withdrawal, including church, business and community boards. Garman is the pastor of Happy Valley Community Church. In making his announcement, Garman has endorsed Anderson City Councilman Mike Gallagher in the race for District 5.
