GoFundMe Pages Setup To Help Families Of The Victims Of Tragic Bus Crash

Crowd sourcing accounts have been set up to help the families of some of the victims of last week’s tragic collision between a pickup truck and a Tehama County Public Transit bus in Corning. About 10 O’clock last Wednesday morning on Highway 99-W south of Gyle Road a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck crossed over the double-yellow center line and into the opposing lane, colliding with the bus, which then caught fire. Six people were killed and one passenger survived with major injuries. Accounts have been set up, mostly seeking funeral expenses, at gofundme.com for 72-year-old John Perry, 41-year-old Christina Whittemore, 62-year-old Trena Darrow and 42-year-old Cassandra Moreno. The victims are from Corning, Red Bluff and Chico.
