Good News Rescue Mission Host Event To Honor The Homeless Lost In 2025

Thursday the Good News Rescue Mission will hold a ceremony to honor the homeless people who died in the Redding area over the past year. It’s an opportunity to share memories of those who perished and to bring awareness to the harsh realities of living without shelter. The memorial is performed in January because it’s the coldest month of the year. This year the mission will acknowledge ten named individuals among an estimated 18 who died without a home. Everyone is invited to attend from 10AM to 11AM at the mission chapel, followed by lunch at Noon.
