Haven Humane Opens Pet Evacuation Center

On Friday Haven Humane Society opened the doors on a disaster response and humane education center that was built to provide a place for pets to go when their families are evacuated due to fires or other emergencies. The 3D printed building was funded by $2.5 Million of Zogg Fire Recovery Money from PG&E. It was built in memory of Karen King, one of 4 people who died in the Zogg Fire. There was also $200,000 provided for a spay and neuter program.
