Anyone who thinks their pet is worthy of being a calendar girl -or boy- can enter the Haven Humane Society Photo Contest. The top 13 photos will be used for the 2027 Haven Humane North State Pet Calendar. The photos can only feature pets- no humans allowed. They can be uploaded digitally for a $5 entry fee, and then every Dollar donated after that counts as a vote. Anyone can vote as often as they wish through August 19th. The pet that gets the most votes will grace the cover of the calendar, and the runners up will each have a featured month. A pet’s birthday or adoption day can also be reserved for $20. Any pet is eligible, including dogs, cats, farm animals, rodents, fish, reptiles or any other living non-human creature. There’s a link on the KQMS Facebook Page.
