The Downtown Redding Eligibility Services Office for Shasta County Health and Human Services on Sacramento Street has permanently closed. A press release says it’s due to a safety risk that could not be mitigated. There are plans to open another Downtown office in the coming weeks but in the meantime clients can visit one of five other locations or call 877-652-0731 or go to benefitscal.com
