Interstate 5 was shut down for most of the day Wednesday after a tanker truck hauling liquid nitrogen rolled over and sprung a leak. The crash happened on the northbound side just north of the Twin View Boulevard Exit. Freeway traffic was diverted while the Shasta Cascade Hazardous Materials Response Team cleaned up the spill. The truck driver was not injured.
