A Tehama County Sheriff’s Department dog has sniffed out a lot of pot and a lot of money. During a traffic stop, Silas the K9 was used to sniff around the car and he indicated the presence of drugs. A search was done and deputies found about 90 Pounds of processed Marijuana bud and $100,000 cash. No information was revealed about arrests or the names of the suspects. The money will be used for the department’s helicopter program, rescue vehicles and other equipment.
