League Of Women Voters To Host Candidate Forums

The non-partisan league of Women Voters of the Redding Area has announced a series of candidate forums. They’re all free and open to the public.

— The first will bring together 7 of the 8 candidates for the District 2 Congressional seat, which will encompass Shasta County following redistricting. That forum is this Thursday evening from 5PM to 7PM at the Cascade Theatre.
— The candidates for Shasta County Board of Supervisors District 1 will meet on Wednesday the 15th from 5PM to 6:30PM at the Redding Library Community Room.
— The District 5 Supervisor candidates will meet the following evening, Thursday the 16th, from 6PM to 8PM at the Frontier Senior Center in Anderson.
— The two candidates for County Clerk and Registrar of Voters will meet Wednesday the 22nd from 5PM to 6:30PM in the Redding Library Community Room.

The League of Women Voters has an easy to use election information page at vote411.org. Next week all of the District 1 and District 5 Supervisor candidates will be interviewed on the KQMS Morning Show.
