Clear Creek Road in South Redding was blocked after a head-on collision Sunday night. Shortly after 5 O’clock 49-year-old Hom Lotakhoon was westbound in a small Infiniti passenger car on Clear Creek Road just west of Highway 273. Redding Police say Lotakhoon made a left turn toward the driveway of a closed business, passing directly in front of a full size Dodge Ram pickup truck. Both drivers suffered major injuries and were transported to Mercy Medical Center. At the hospital an RPD drug recognition expert determined that Lotakhoon was on drugs, leading to felony charges of DUI causing injury.
