Reports of a man with a gun led to multiple school lockdowns in North Redding on Friday. At 9:44AM callers reported a man with a rifle in front of Rocky Point Charter School. A lockdown was ordered for that school, as well as Buckeye School, as multiple officers and a CHP aircraft all responded. 21-year-old Xander Thomas was found with two rifle stocks he had found in a dumpster. He also reportedly had a concealed knife and drug paraphernalia, and he was arrested.
