A man was stabbed in Red Bluff Sunday night and another man was arrested for attempted murder. At 9:40, Red Bluff Police were dispatched to Reeds Avenue and South Jackson Street near Red Bluff Christian School. Bystanders were detaining the suspect at the scene but while officers were en route they learned that he had broken free and was running away on South Jackson. Officers intercepted and took custody of 36-year-old Arthur Peniarandabalderas. The victim, Daniel Castaneda, was located several blocks away. Both men were taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
